Susan Nappi

Susan Nappi is the Practice Administrator for the Griffin Faculty Practice at Griffin Hospital (GFPP). The Griffin Faculty Practice Plan (GFPP) is a non-profit, multi-specialty practice, dedicated to providing high quality health care and service to patients, families and referring physicians. As part of its commitment to advancing health, GFPP also engages in teaching internal and preventive medicine to residents and medical students. Susan has over 10 years experience in behavioral and community-based research and and has worked at facilities such as New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, Yale University, the VA Healthcare System in West Haven, the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center at Griffin Hospital (PRC), and most recently at the Community Center of Excellence in Women’s Health at Griffin Hospital where she served as Executive Director. Recently, the focus of her work has been on exporting the Planetree model of care and clinical women’s health protocols to the outpatient practice setting. Susan received her B.A. degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Purchase. She then attended the School of Public Health at Yale University and earned her Masters in Public Health with a concentration in chronic disease epidemiology.
