Caroline Johnston

Caroline Johnston is a doctoral student in the School of Family Studies at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. Her work has focused on acculturation and childrearing issues among Puerto Rican mothers in Connecticut, and she is currently project manager for the U.S. site of the International Baby Study (C. Super & S. Harkness, Principal Investigators). Caroline is pursuing a certificate from the Center for Culture, Health & Human Development based on issues related to parenting and child obesity. Caroline holds a master’s degree in cultural anthropology and a master’s in human development & family studies. She recently finished a term as managing editor of Ethos, the journal of the Society for Psychological Anthropology.
