Brenda Kurz, Ph.D.

Brenda Kurz, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Casework at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Her research interests are in mental health and mental health care utilization of low-income, ethnically diverse women. She has conducted research in violence prevention and mental health promotion in children, and the impact of early child bearing.
